In Europe, the continental competitions are over, this means that the Champions League, Europa League, and the new Europa Conference League have been won, here you can read about who won, and how they won.

UEFA Champions League: The final between Real Madrid and Liverpool started in a way that is never good, a delay. This was because some fans had fake tickets, and the police started using tear gas to get rid of the crowd. This long line and tear gas led to these supporters, mainly Liverpool fans, to get in late or be in pain. While the game had a rough start, it got going with the Madrid goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois making an incredible save, stopping Mane from getting an early goal. In the 43 minute Real Madrid’s Benzema scored a goal but didn’t even celebrate, as he was clearly offsides, and then of course, the flag was raised. In the 58 minute Vinicius Junior got the only goal of the game off of a low cross where all he had to do was tap the ball into the net. This did not stop Liverpool who took many shots but the man of match, Courtois did not let a single shot in, even Sarah’s extraordinary shot in the 82 minute. Madrid won the game thanks the efforts of their keeper, as Liverpool had 9 shots on target compared to the Madrid 2. Liverpool also took 24 shots while Real had 4. This amazing shot stopping and Vinicius Junior’s tap in gave Real Madrid a 1-0 win and their 14th title, the most in Europe.

UEFA Europa League: In the match between Eintracht Frankfurt and Rangers, the game felt like it really started in the second half, while the first half did have its chances for both teams, the players went through the tunnel 0-0 at the end of the first 45. The coaches must have had some very inspirational speeches at the half because the tempo of the game increased in the second half which led to Rangers scoring in the 56 minute. Although it only took Frankfurt 12 minutes to score the equalizer but off a cross that reached Rafael Borre sliding through the middle of the penalty box. The game went to penalties only a few minutes after the Eintracht Frankfurt goalie Trapp made an incredible save with his foot and then another of a free kick, miraculously still 1-1. The penalty shoot out was filled with perfect penalties hitting mainly the corners until Kevin Trapp saved Ranger’s 4th kick and that was the only goal denied, winning Frankfurt the title 5-4 in penalties.

UEFA Europa Conference League: Feyenoord vs Roma. This was a heated game with both sides trying to be the first to win this trophy, and this meant that both teams played aggressively, with a total of 4 yellow cards in the game. The game’s first big play was when Zaniolo got it over the keeper after an amazing pass, giving Roma the 1-0 lead in the 32 minute. Right after the half, it looked like Feyenoord would tie the game but Roma’s keeper was able to pull off a save of pure excellence, keeping Roma in the lead. The goalies from both sides continued to make amazing saves, keeping the game at 1-0 until the end of the game. Despite the loss, Feyenoord controlled possession, with 67% and also had more shots on target, 5, compared to Roma’s 3. Roma became the inaugural winners, this trophy being their first European title in.
