Jerseys numbers are very important in soccer, not only to differentiate players from their teammates, but jerseys numbers can also make icons and give things to remember them by, such as Messi with number 10 or Ronaldo with number 7. Many of these players are icons too, and they are the best players for every jersey number 1-10 in the Premier League.

1. Alisson Becker (Liverpool)

Despite the fact that Liverpool have not had a great season this year, Alisson has been one of the strong points, saving many draws and wins from being lost with his amazing 1 on 1 style of goalkeeping. Alisson is also known for being good at punting, and he even has an assist this season, when he got the ball to Mohamed Salah, who was able to score and win against Manchester City. Don’t forget that Alisson isn’t afraid to get up for a corner, such as when he scored a header against West Brom in the 2020/21 season.

2. Kyle Walker (Manchester City)

Kyle Walker has been with Manchester City through most of their recent successes, and that is not a coincidence. This is because the right back is one of the best in the league and he is surely one of the fastest. 5. Pierre Emile Hojbjerg (Tottenham)

The defensive midfielder for Denmark and Tottenham, Pierre Emile Hojbjerg, is one of the best that the Premier League has ever seen, he constantly stops counter attacks and presses into opponents boxes, resulting in many goals for his teammates. 6. Gabriel Magalhães (Arsenal)

One of Arsenal’s best players during Arsenal’s incredible season has been the player who holds down their defense, Gabriel. He has an aggressive play style that earns him many cards, but this style stops forwards in their tracks and gives Arsenal many clean sheets. He has become a staple at Arsenal and Gabriel’s number 6 jersey will forever be iconic to the fans of the gunners.

7. Son Heung-min (Tottenham)

Son Heung-min has been one of the top players in the top flight of English soccer for a while, and his scoring record shows just that. He has scored 97 goals in 76 games, a very impressive statistic. 8. Ilkay Gundogan (Manchester City)

While Ilkay Gundogan doesn’t score as often as other players or make amazing defensive plays, he is able to hold Manchester City together. Gundogan connects every player on City with his amazing leadership and passing, this has led to them winning 4 Premier League titles while he has been at the club. Despite not scoring much, Gundogan is no stranger to putting the ball into the net at a heroic moment, the German player scored 2 goals in 5 minutes in the final match of last season, giving Manchester City a 3-2 comeback win and earning them the title.

9. Erling Haaland (Manchester City)

Erling Haaland, Manchester City’s new Norwegian player has been dominating the Premier League this season and he doesn’t look like stopping. 10. Harry Kane (Tottenham)

Speaking of the next highest player, that player is the best number 10 in the Premier League, the English striker Harry Kane. Kane has been scoring for Tottenham in their highs and lows this season, and this has given him the 18 goals that he has converted this season.
